Netflix delivers another interesting K-drama, which stars Kim Woo Bin in "Black Knight."

The 6-episode dystopian K-drama is among the most talked-about new series this May. 

After making its small screen debut on May 12, "Black Knight" became one of the current most-watched Netflix TV shows globally. 

Based on the webcomic, "Black Knight" is directed by Cho Ui Seok of the 2016 action crime movie "Master."

It focuses on humans' survival after a comet hits the Earth, turning the Korean Peninsula into a desert wasteland.

Not only that, survivors struggle to find ways to generate and maintain oxygen levels after the quality of the air was affected by the incident. 

Besides the unique story and amazing effects, viewers are also drawn to the series' cast lineup. 

From Hallyu stars to veteran actors, "Black Knight" boasts a roaster of talented actors.

Kim Woo Bin

Headlining the series, Kim Woo Bin took on the role of legendary delivery driver, 5-8. 

Besides his duty of bringing food and oxygen to the General District residents, he is also making illegal drop-offs for refugees.

"Black Knight" is the Hallyu star's return to the small screen, one year after "Our Blues" aired.

Kim Woo Bin also starred in "Uncontrollably Fond" with Bae Suzy but gained fame through the iconic K-drama "The Heirs" with Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye. 

Esom

Portraying Major Jung Seol Ah of Defense Intelligence Command, Esom also appeared in another Netflix movie. 

She joined the cast of "Kill Bok Soon" as Executive Director Cha Min Hee of the killing agency, M.K Ent. 

Apart from that, Esom is best known for her roles as Prosecutor Kang Han Na in "Taxi Driver" and Uhm Tae Goo's sister in "Save Me Season 2."

Kang Yoo Seok

The up-and-coming actor played rebellious refugee Yoon Sa Wol in "Black Knight."

Kang Yoo Seok also appeared in the hit K-drama "Start-Up," as well as "Melting Me Softly," "Beyond Evil," and a cameo role in "Dr. Romantic 2" episode 8. 

After "Black Knight," the rookie actor will join the cast of SBS' thriller mystery series "Payback" together with Lee Sun Kyun, Moon Chae Won, and Park Hoon as one of the main characters. 

Song Seung Hun

Taking on the role of villain Ryu Seok, "Black Knight" is Song Seung Hun's return after two years since "Voice Season 4: Judgment Hour" with Lee Ha Na. 

One of the sought after stars of his generation, the 46-year-old top star also headlined the 2000 smash hit K-drama "Autumn Tale" with Song Hye Kyo and Won Bin. 

Adding to the list of Song Seung Hun's dramas are "East of Eden," "Saimdang, Light's Diary," "Dinner Mate," and more.
