On May 30, it was announced that Lim Ji Yeon has been appointed as an honorary police officer, much to fans' excitement.
The actress took the entertainment scene by storm earlier this year with her performance as a school violence perpetrator in the smash hit drama "The Glory."
This May, the National Police Agency announced that Lim Ji Yeon is a member of the police unit at the Seoul Police Office in Seodaemun District. She will bridge the gap between the police and the public for the next two years.
In addition, the actress will promote the police's major policies and crime prevention activities. She will also engage in drug prevention promotions as an Ambassador for Drug Crime Prevention.

This summer, Lim Ji Yeon is turning up the heat as she headlines ENA Drama's brand new thriller series "LIes Hidden In My Garden" with Kim Tae Hee.
In the series, she plays Chu Sang Eun, an expecting mother who's a victim of domestic violence. Because of the pain, she dreams of escaping her hellish reality.
Kim Tae Hee, on the other hand, lives a picture-perfect life as Moon Joo Ran. Due to the pungent smell of a decaying corpse, the two women are brought together as they discover lies, hidden truths and more.
