Following his fantasy-healing series "Tomorrow" and historical-romance drama "The King's Affection," the male star is ready to take a new challenge as he is considering leading KBS's "The Wedding Battle" also known as "Sending Me to You."
According to a report cited by a media outlet on May 31, Rowoon is expected to make his small screen return this October. In addition, he is being courted to team up with breakout star Cho Yi Hyun.

"Sending Me to You" is set in the background of the Joseon Dynasty and will follow the story of a young widow and young widower and their struggle as they go through together to marry the four young maidens who represent Joseon.

After the production named the two as potential on screen partners, the team also provided new information that once the casting is confirmed they will immediately proceed with filming. In addition, the historical-romance series is scheduled to air sometime in October and will occupy the Monday and Tuesday primetime slots on KBS.
"The Wedding Battle" might be Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun's first on-screen project.
Furthermore, Rowoon also has another drama to premiere in the second half of 2023. He will star in JTBC's fantasy series "Destined with You" alongside Jo Bo Ah.
