'Dr Romantic 3' Episode 12: Will Yoo Yeon Seok Be Trauma Center's New Head?
"Dr. Romantic 3" episode 12 did not fail the after leaving a mind-boggling cliffhanger in episode 11.
The medical K-drama stars Han Suk Kyu as the legendary doctor Kim Sa Bu, who chose to work at Doldam Hospital along with his trusted juniors Cha Eun Jae and Seo Woo Jin, played by Lee Sung Kyung and Ahn Hyo Seop.
For the third season, the majority of the cast reprised their roles. Jin Kyung, Kim Joo Heon, So Ju Yeon, Kim Min Jae, Shin Dong Wook, and more return with their respective characters.
On top of that, the third season welcomed three new cast members. Lee Hong Nae and Lee Shin Young play Doldam's maknae doctors, and Lee Kyung Young is Kim Sa Bu's nemesis and Cha Eun Jae's father.
'Dr. Romantic 3' Episode 12 Recap
The 12th episode did not just deliver a surprising twist but a familiar face returned to the countryside.
The episode began with Cha Eun Jae recalling how she used to see her father when she was young; unfortunately, as she got older, she saw it from a different perspective.
"Dr. Romantic 3" episode 12 focused on Cha Jin Man and the decisions around Doldam and the Trauma Center.
Due to the incident that happened with Lee Seon Wung, Cha Jin Man felt like he was being disrespected because of the accident that happened three years ago.
On the other hand, Kim Sa Bu had a hunch that Lee Seon Wung was the person behind the mystery man with a paperbag around his head, who threatened Cha Jin Ma. He confronted him and learned that he wanted to avenge his friend, who died because of Dr. Cha.
However, Kim Sa Bu explained that revenge is not the best solution, instead, he should focus on how to be a better doctor and prove them wrong.

Meanwhile, because of the incident, Cha Jin Man resigned from the position. Of course, Kim Sa Bu was disappointed since he is one of the best on the field.
As for Dr. Park, he wanted Cha Jin Man to step down to get the budget for the Trauma Center as promised by Assemblywoman Ko. Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned, and the politician wanted to abolish the Trauma Center.
At this point, Dr. Park regretted his decision and wanted to ask Dr. Cha to return to the Trauma Center, but Kim Sa Bu doubted that he would come back.
As a result, he invited his previous apprentice, Kang Dong Joo, played by Yoo Yeon Seok, to be the replacement for Cha Jin Man in the meantime.
Will this be a good move for Doldam Hospital?
