As Netflix continues to deliver thrilling reality shows, "Siren: Survive The Island" made its debut featuring a familiar contestant.
The 10-episode series showcases 24 strong female participants, all who hope to win and survive on an unnamed island.
Divided into six groups (Team Firefighter, Team Police, Team Athlete, Team Guard, and lastly Team Soldier), each squad consists of one team leader and three groupmates.
Interestingly, Team Soldier, headed by team leader Kim Bom Eun, includes Kang Eun Mi.
Who is 'Siren: Survive The Island' Participant Kang Eun Mi?
Fans of the new Netflix survival reality show might be curious about the show's participants.
As for Kang Eun Mi, she serves in the special forces particularly in Warfare Command, making her familiar with rough terrain and dealing with wild animals.
However, being in "Siren: Survive The Island" is not her first time joining a reality show.
Back in January, Netflix introduced an intense fitness competition, "Physical: 100," joined by 100 participants.

From Olympians to professional athletes to bodybuilders to military to fitness models, and more, they gathered to see who among them would win the whopping $230,000 prize money.
Interestingly, special forces member Kang Eun Mi was one of the "Physical: 100" cast, along with a fellow soldier and fan-favorite Agent H.
However, she lost in the second round during the one-on-one fight match against national wrestler Jang Eun Sil.

Joining team leader Kim Bom Eun and Kang Eun Mi in the group is Lee Hyun Seon, who is a member of the 707th Special Mission Group and Counter-Terrorism Team, while Kim Na Eun is also under the Special Warfare Command like fellow contestant Kang Eun Mi.
During the introduction, most of the group sees Team Soldier as their biggest competitor mainly because of their line of work and training they experienced.
However, as the show aired its first part, the team drew flak from viewers after doing a challenge with Tean Stunt.
Known for their tactical skills, Team Soldier impressed viewers with their strength and intelligence. In one challenge, they proposed an alliance with Team Stunt to go against Team Police.
However, as mentioned by a media outlet, Kang Eun Mi's team earned criticism from the audience, calling them "too cocky."
In the post, viewers pointed out that the team exudes arrogance and "don't know how to negotiate."
One mentioned that they used to be among the fan-favorites because of their skills, but lost interest due to the team's rudeness.
