'Uncanny Counter 2' Cast Attend Script Reading
On June 8, tvN dropped the behind-the-scenes snippets of the "Uncanny Counter 2" script reading, featuring the old and new cast members of the much-anticipated action-fantasy series.
Based on the famous webtoon of the same name, with 160 million cumulative views, the "Uncanny Counter" series topped OCN's all-time drama ratings.
Furthermore, the major characters are about to reprise their roles, such as Jo Byeong Gyu, Kim Sejeong, Yoo Joon Sang, Yeon Hye Ram, and Ahn Seok Hwan.

On top of that, talented actors Jin Sun Kyu, Kang Ki Young, Kim Hieora, and Yoo In Soo has joined the lineup, which signals a more thrilling season 2.
At the script reading, producer Yoo Seon Dong and writer Kim Sae Bom, who worked on season 1 are also returning to produce another adventurous story. All the stars mentioned were present at the event.
Producer Yoo Seon Dong Shares Excitement for 'Uncanny Counter 2'
Yoo Seon Dong said that the event gave him a new feeling despite working with the same staff and actors.
"I am grateful for the counters and existing staff for coming together, and the newly joined actors and staff are warmly welcomed," said PD Yoo, which created a bright atmosphere.
Veteran actor Yoo Joon Sang drew laughter after he jokingly said that they should go until season 7, showing his enthusiasm to work with everyone for a long time.
With the start of script reading, the room was full of thrilling catharsis given by the unique sense of excitement and a good exchange of lines delivered by the cast.
Adding fun to the story are Jin Sun Kyu, Kang Ki Young, Kim Hieora, and Yoo In Soo, who showcased their charms and wit that drew laughter and tension to everyone.
What to Anticipate from 'Uncanny Counter 2'
The production team has spoiled the viewers, that since there will be new counters in the forthcoming season, a showdown between the new and original counters is possible.
"Uncanny Counter 2" is expected to premiere under tvN and is tentatively scheduled to air in July. It will occupy the Saturday and Sunday slots.
Meanwhile, after it concludes, the fantasy series, "Arthdal Chronicles," which is also returning with season 2, will air next in late September of this year.
