In an exclusive report cited by JTBC News, ENA is preparing the first stages of the production, starting with the storyline.

As mentioned by the local outlet, screenwriter Moon Ji Won has officially signed the contract to work on "Extraordinary Attorney Woo 2."

What to Expect in 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo 2'?

Back in August 2022, ASTORY announced that the Park Eun Bin-led K-drama got the green light for season 2. As obtained by a local outlet, the CEO, Lee Sang Baek, targets the sequel to premiere sometime in 2024.

Moreover, ASTORY also considered the overwhelming support of viewers in releasing the second installment.

"Thanks to the support of many people, we will produce Season 2 of 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo.'"

However, CEO Lee Sang Baek shared the challenges that the team might face as they start the preparation for "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" season 2. It includes the schedule of the cast and production team; hence, they "have to go through a lot of discussion."

As for the cast and characters reprising their roles, the CEO assured that there will be no changes regarding the cast members, director, writer, or production team for the second season.

"As long as there are no unexpected changes, the goal is to maintain more than 90 percent of the same members as now," he said, adding, "For this reason, it will take a considerable amount of time to coordinate, but the plan to produce Season 2 has not changed."

For now, the "Extraordinary Attorney Woo" cast are busy with their respective projects.

Park Eun Bin is visiting the Philippines this June for a fan meeting and is set to headline an upcoming K-drama, "Diva of the Deserted Island."

The same goes for Kang Ki Young, who recently starred in the action crime movie "The Point Men" with Hwang Jung Min and Hyun Bin.

In addition, he also joined the soon-to-be released "The Uncanny Counter" season 2 together with the original cast members.

As for Kang Tae Oh, he is currently serving the military as a corporal in the Army.
