Lee Do Hyun Turns Down Offers as He Might Start His Military Service This 2023

In his media interview released on June 14, Lee Do Hyun shared his plans for military enlistment. 

According to Lee Do Hyun, he has decided to apply for military service this 2023. As per the actor, before it happens, he wants to travel, especially with his family. The actor mentioned that he is planning on taking his parents to Jeju for a vacation. 

As the conversation continued, the "18 Again" star also clarified that "The Good Bad Mother" is his last work before he enters the military camp. 

Lee Do Hyun further explained that he still wants to participate in other projects, but if he already receives an enlistment notice while filming, the schedule would have to be adjusted. Humbly worrying about the staff and artists who will be affected by the changes.

"If everyone has to rush and film with a tight schedule because of me, I would feel guilty. That's why, even though I still want to take on more projects, I decided to turn down all offers."

'The Good Bad Mother' Lead Star Shares His Plans Before & During Enlistment

The award-winning actor added that he has always considered fulfilling military enlistment earlier. He also expressed his desire to have different life experiences while serving in the army. 

Lee Do Hyun shared that he wants to talk with people a lot during his military service since he didn't have the chance to converse with a lot of people due to his busy schedule. 

"I want to enlist and learn about other people's strengths, and believe that I will grow as an actor during my stay in the military camp." Lee Do Hyun concluded. 

Lee Do Hyun successfully ended his healing-comedy series "The Good Bad Mother" with impressive ratings and was lauded for his impeccable performance throughout the drama. 

As per writing, there's no confirmation yet when is the exact date of Lee Do Hyun's enlistment. While on his break, the actor is expected to spend more time with his family and close friends. 

He also mentioned in the interview that his "The Glory" co-stars might visit him in the army camp once he enlisted.
