Lim Ji Yeon Names the Next Hallyu Queen She Wants to Work With in the Future
Besides starring in back-to-back hit K-dramas, Lim Ji Yeon works alongside top stars like Song Hye Kyo and the recent Kim Tae Hee for the upcoming series "Lies Hidden in My Garden."
With the huge success of "The Glory," there's no doubt why the 32-year-old actress is among the celebrities who are booked and busy with forthcoming projects.
Interestingly, she named a celebrity with whom she dreams of working in the future.
Lim Ji Yeon Expresses her Desire to Collaborate With THIS Top Star
During the press conference for "Lies Hidden in My Garden," the actress was teased by the media about the nickname that fans gave her.
Calling her a "Tae Hye Ji Collector," which stands for Kim Tae Hee, Song Hye Kyo, and Jun Ji Hyun, Lim Ji Yeon burst into laughter after hearing the description of her.
However, the actress shared that she was excited upon hearing that Kim Tae Hee would be her co-star in "Lies Hidden in My Garden."
Moreover, since the upcoming series was her next project after the smash hit K-drama "The Glory," where she stars together with Song Hye Kyo, she said that she feels "no pressure" but in fact felt "really happy" about it.
"It is fortunate to act with the seniors that I respect," she added.
As for Jun Ji Hyun, Lim Ji Yeon expresses her desire to work with the Hallyu queen and says that if an "opportunity arises, she wants to work" with her in the future.

Considered one of the most sought-after and, not to mention, highest paid K-drama actresses, the trio have returned to showbiz, delivering hit projects one after the other.
After "Jirisan" in 2021, Jun Ji Hyun is in talks to star in an upcoming K-drama "Polaris" with Kang Dong Won, while Song Hye Kyo just finished "The Glory" season 2.
Lim Ji Yeon Received the Offer for 'Lies Hidden in My Garden' Before 'The Glory'
As the press conference continues, "Lies Hidden in My Garden" director Jung Ji Hyun, who is also known for hit dramas like "The King: Eternal Monarch" and "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" revealed why he chose Lim Ji Yeon as one of the lead stars.
"She is an actress who has been recommended a lot by people around her," the director revealed.
However, the role was offered to Lim Ji Yeon before the release of "The Glory."
"I gave them the script before 'The Glory' aired, and I was very happy that 'The Glory' was so successful," he said.
Interestingly, Lim Ji Yeon plays a contrasting role in the two K-dramas.
While she portrays the villain in "The Glory" and even won Best Supporting Actress at the Baeksang Arts Awards 2023, her character in "Lies Hidden in My Garden" is a wife who experiences domestic violence abuse.
Unlike Moon Joo Ran, played by Kim Tae Hee, who lived in a wealthy environment and married a loving husband, Lim Ji Yeon's character, Cha Sang Eun, wants to escape a hellish life away from her husband.
Viewers will get to see the duo's chemistry as "Lies Hidden in My Garden" airs on June 19.
