Jung Hae In Marks His Screen Comeback Through Netflix 'DP 2' & 'Veteran 2'

In a media interview, Jung Hae In sat for a moment and freely shared what are the things to look forward to his comeback.

Following his last dramas "Connect" and "Snowdrop," the Hallyu star is returning to the spotlight with several projects including a series, movie, magazine cover, and fan meetings.

First, he teased two of his long-awaited works "D.P. Season 2" and the film "Veteran 2."

"D.P. 2" is scheduled to be released on July 28 on the streaming giant Netflix, while "Veteran 2" has no specific date of release yet.

Jung Hae In shared the difficulties he had while filming these two projects at the same time. According to him, "Even though it was physically challenging to handle both works simultaneously, I am incredibly grateful that we managed to conclude everything without any injuries."

The "Something in the Rain" star might have felt pressure to pursue the drama and the movie as the previous seasons of both projects were successful and well-received by the public. He gave a spoiler for his soon-to-release Netflix series, "'D.P. 2 will continue where the first season finished. So the viewers will enjoy the new season more if you have watched season 1."

He added, "Please look forward to the story of each character."

On the other hand, for "Veteran 2," Jung Hae In described as an extremely thought-provoking movie, especially for people living in society today.

Apart from his small and silver screens comeback, the male star is also appearing in JTBC's new travel variety program titled "Actors on the Road: First Trip Together for 88ers." He will share the same frame with his real-life friend and actor Im Siwan, who is set to headline "Squid Game 2."

The new show will be released in the second half of 2023.

Jung Hae In's international fans are also rejoicing as they finally have the chance to meet and greet the K-heartthrob. On June 21, his agency FNC Entertainment surprised the public by dropping the dates of the actor's upcoming Asian Fan Meeting tour.

 

The tour will start in July in Seoul, Jung Hae In is expected to visit these cities for the next stop of his tour, Manila, Macau, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Japan, Bangkok, Singapore, and more.
