Gong Myung to Reportedly Make K-Drama Comeback Following Military Discharge
Fresh from the army, Gong Myung might have missed the set that much as he is already in talks to work on a new drama less than a month after he got discharged from the military.
Gong Myung Rumored to Return to Acting Through 'Plaza Wars'
Gong Myung delivered good news to fans after fulfilling his military duties in June. On July 4, based on a news outlet, Gong Myung is likely to resume his acting career soon.
It has been said that "The Bride of Habaek" actor has joined the production of The Plaza, and is currently coordinating the details.
His agency, Saram Entertainment confirmed the news and announced that Gong Myung received a casting offer to participate in the upcoming drama "Plaza Wars."
However, the agency didn't specify what role is being offered to the heartthrob.
What We Know So Far About Webtoon-Based K-Drama 'Plaza Wars'
"Plaza Wars" is adapted from the popular webtoon of the same name. It presents the story of two organizations that survived a power struggle in Seoul, particularly in front of the Yeouido National Assembly Plaza.
The protagonist will be involved in a mysterious search surrounding the sudden death of his brother, who became a capo of an organization.

When the webtoon of this soon-to-adapted drama was published, it immediately gained praise for its dynamic illustrations and rapid development.
Due to this, after it was reported that it will be produced into a series, the drama production garnered much anticipation from the fans.
So Ji Sub in Talks to Star in 'Plaza Wars' With Gong Myung
In February, it was announced that So Ji Sub was in talks to appear in the drama. His agency, 51K Entertainment, confirmed the casting offer, and the actor is positively reviewing the script, although nothing is confirmed yet.
Further, "Plaza Wards" is set to finish the casting in the second half of 2023 and will officially proceed in the full-scale filming.
Gong Myung's latest screen appearance was in the comedy film "Killing Romance," alongside Honey Lee and Lee Sun Kyu, which was released in April 2023. His last drama was in 2021 through SBS' "Lovers of the Red Sky," where he worked with Kim Yoo Jung and Ahn Hyo Seop.
Fans are now looking forward to seeing Gong Myung back with interesting and exciting projects.
