On July 6, the upcoming MBC historical romance series "Lovers" released its first-ever drama teaser featuring Ahn Eun Jin and Namgoong Min.
Set in the Joseon era, "Lovers" follows the story between a woman who dreams to find true love even after her failed marriages and a man who declares that he will never marry.
Ahn Eun Jin plays the noble family' daughter Yoo Gil Chae who boasts a goddess-like beauty and allure. She becomes mature and more understanding as she goes through love amidst the war.
Meanwhile, Namgoong Min transforms into the stoic Lee Jang Hyun. He's a man who appears cynical but has a warm heart for the woman he adores.
However, due to an unexpected tragedy, he's no longer interested in making permanent connections. Because of their differences, the two create a dull atmosphere that intrigues the viewers.
The poster takes Lee Jang Hyun and Yoo Gil Chae to the ocean as the distance between them illustrates how they cannot be together after falling in love in wartime.
