In "King the Land" episodes 7 & 8, the drama gave delight to viewers as it offered a variety of fun and interesting shout-outs. What surprised the audience were the scenes referring to two of the high-rated K-dramas in 2021 - "The Red Sleeve" and "Squid Game"!

Gu Won (Lee Junho) invited the Arab Prince (Anupam Tripathi) to The King Hotel as it will play a big role in the sales of their business. It was revealed that the prince was his former classmate in the business school, and the chaebol heir was able to change his mind to stay in King the Land.

However, they engaged in a jealousy war and tried to fight for Cheon Sa Rang's (YoonA) heart.

The prince decided to visit a palace that was famous to tourists in Korea. While they toured the place, he tasked Gu Won to buy them coffee.

Though he was annoyed, the chaebol heir followed the order.

Before he left, Gu Won looked at the palace and said:

"This place seems oddly familiar."

He was referring to none other than his previous role as King Yi San, in "The Red Sleeve"! Gu Won even walked out full of authority like a king.
