After its successful premiere, "Celebrity" rose to the top again in Netflix Global Top 10, stealing the spot from the rom-com K-drama "King the Land."

'Celebrity' Rises to No. 1 on Netflix Amid Strong Competition With 'King the Land'

Starring Park Gyu Young and Kang Min Hyuk, the star-studded drama "Celebrity" that narrates the stories of influencers made another achievement, showcasing its growing popularity.

On July 12, based on the data by Netflix, "Celebrity" ranked first in the Global Top 10 in Non-English Category with 5.6 million views.

In addition, it also ranked first in ten countries including Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Bolivia, and Peru.

"Celebrity," which is blowing strong firepower is being streamed to more than 190 countries. It premiered on June 30 and immediately grabbed the audience's interest with its intriguing plot.

Adding to its popularity is the number of Korean stars who made their special appearances in the episodes.

"Celebrity" outshined "King the Land" on top, which ranked first last July 5 in the Netflix Global Top 10.

What's Next for 'Celebrity' Cast

As it introduced new and old faces, viewers are now anticipating the "Celebrity" cast members' upcoming projects. Even those who made cameos made impressions and the public wanted to see more of them on screen.

Park Gyu Young will have a busy year as she is booked with various projects. Being dubbed the "Daughter of Netflix," the actress has been expanding her reach in the global audience.

After "Celebrity," she is expected to appear in "Squid Game," "Sweet Home" Seasons 2 and 3," and the webtoon-based series "A Good Day to Be a Dog."

The breakout star is also being courted to join Kim Seon Ho in a new drama and according to her agency, Park Gyu Young is positively reviewing the offer.

As of this writing there are no confirmed projects yet for the talented star. Lee Dong Gun is also yet to announce his next project.
