Amid the ongoing popularity of "King the Land," lead actor Lee Junho is already being courted for another series, where he might portray the role of a superhero! 

Lee Junho Might Transform Into Superhero in His Next Netflix Drama

On July 13, media outlets reported that 2PM's Lee Junho is in talks for another Netflix series, "Cashero" (working title).

On the same day, JYP Entertainment confirmed the news and stated that the actor has been offered to headline the drama, and he is reviewing it.

"Cashero" is based on a webtoon of the same name that presents the story of ordinary superheroes who protect the daily lives of normal people.

If Lee Junho decides to star in the project, he will portray the role of Kang Sang Woong, a new superhero named Cashero, who has the physical ability to become stronger the more cash he has.

Once the award-winning actor confirmed his participation in the project, it will mark his next drama following "King the Land."

Lee Junho Praised for Performance in 'King the Land'

Lee Junho is at the peak of his career. Following the success of his historical-romance series "The Red Sleeve," the Korean superstar bagged the Best Actor trophy from the prestigious Baeksang Arts Awards in 2021.

This 2023, Lee Junho stars in the romantic-comedy K-drama "King the Land." He shares the same frame with fellow second-generation idol-actress, YoonA. With their undeniable chemistry, the two immediately received love and support.

From being the King of Joseon, Lee Junho transformed into a chaebol heir, who is in an inheritance war with his sister in "King the Land."

The drama also continues to record sy-high ratings for its plot and characters' synergy and performances. "King the Land" maintains its double-digit ratings, and keeps on achieving new milestones as Lee Junho and YoonA top the Most Buzzworthy K-Drama Actors for three weeks now.

The series also accumulated 24.5 million viewing and counting since its release on June 17. During its third week, "King the Land" ranked 1st on Netflix Global Top 10 in the non-English category, proving its growing popularity worldwide.
