‘Numbers’ Episode 9: Kim Myung Soo Uncovers Truth About Nam Myung Ryul’s Death
Jang Ho Woo (Kim Myung Soo) started to get evidence from Shim Hyung Woo and discovered the shocking truth about his adoptive father Jang In Ho (Nam Myung Ryul) in "Numbers" episode 9.
'Numbers' Episode 9: Han Je Kyun Continues His Business Agenda
In "Numbers" episode 9, a short flashback to when Jang Ho Woo and Han Seung Jo tried to save Shim Hyung Woo and Yang Jae Hwan at the burning warehouse. It was Han Je Kyun (Choi Min Soo) who hired men to kill the two.
Unfortunately, Shim Hyung Woo died, after the burning warehouse exploded. A memorial is held for the late accountant but only a few from Taeil Accounting Firm appeared. Han Je Kyun paid a visit and tried to show his concerns, but in fact, he was just putting on a show.
Yang Jae Hwan, on the other hand, was healing from the injuries at the hospital. He kept having nightmares after the incident and gained the courage to go to Hyung Woo's memorial.
Han Je Kyun tasked Woo Sang Hyun to search for Shim Hyung Woo's office. He found a laptop and quickly brought it to Je Kyun.
Han Je Kyun, on the other hand, negotiated with Jin Tae Soo to get Jisan Bank to buy other online loan companies, but Tae Soo hesitated to follow Je Kyun's advice. Meanwhile, Lee Sang Joo found out that Jang Ho Woo is Jang In Ho's adoptive son.

After advising Yang Je Hwan to continue working following the incident, Jang Ho Woo and Han Seung Jo went to Shim Hyung Woo's office and found that it was ransacked. Later on, they received a flash drive from Kang Hyun, containing plans on how Je Kyun used companies before selling them.
Lee Chan Joo is arrested for several financial crimes, which made Lee Sang Joo Sang Ah Group's chairman.
Jang Ho Woo Unveils Truth About Jang In Ho's Death
Interestingly, Jang Ho Woo received a package addressed to Jang In Ho and found a key card inside the package. It turned out that it was Hyung Woo who sent it. The young accountant discovered that the key card opened the recruit lockers at Taeil Firm. There he found a bunch of flash drives containing recordings of Je Kyun's conversations.
After searching, he saw Jang In Ho's autopsy report and it turned out that he died from a knife wound, which means he was killed by Shim Hyung Woo.
Jang Ji Soo met Hwang In Bum and also discovered the real cause of the death of her father. It was Han Je Kyun who lied about In Ho's cause of death in the autopsy report. Je Kyun heard that Ji Soo already knew the truth so he sent goons to her hotel to attack her. Thankfully, Han Seung Jo arrived just in time and saved Jang Ji Soo.
Han Seung Jo and Jang Ho Woo made another plan and looked for a new client to bid for an online loan company to prevent Jisan Bank from being pressured by Je Kyun to buy it. Later on, Ho Woo informed Seung Jo about the recording on Hyung Woo's flash drive and told the real cause of the death of Jang In Ho. Seung Jo was crushed by what he heard and confronted his father.
Ho Woo, on the other hand, went to Lee Sang Joo and confronted him. He even threatened him that Han Je Kyun may have also killed his real parents just like he killed Jang In Ho.
