The following day, Nam Yeon Jun expressed his intent to marry Kyung Eun Ae. They plan to get married before Yeon Jun goes to the battlefield.

Of course, the news crushed Yoo Gil Chae, and she decided that she had to stop the wedding, whatever it takes.

One of her plans is to seek the help of the Young Master that her parents wanted for her. She hints that Nam Yeon Jun and Kyung Eun Ae are going to get married before he leaves. With this, the Young Master got Gil Chae's hint and formally asked her to get married in front of his parents and the crowd.

She said yes, thinking that her plan worked and might be the reason to postpone Nam Yeon Jun and Eun Ae's wedding. Unfortunately, it goes against her plan and speeds up the wedding.

Sensing that Gil Chae was up to something, Lee Jang Hyun offered to help. Instead of going with her plan, Jang Hyun spoke to the head soldiers, including the young master and Nam Yeon Jun.

Here, he explained why it won't be necessary to marry their partners before their mission. He said that if something unfortunate happens to them during the war, their wives will be widows, leaving a negative image in society.

Fortunately for Gil Chae, Lee Jang Hyun's plan worked. Nam Yeon Jun left without marrying Eun Ae, which means that there's still hope for her and Yeon Jun.

On the other hand, as the soldiers started their journey, they were attacked by the foreign intruders. According to Lee Jang Hyun, it might be the Mongolians who are not after power but women and wealth.
