Son Seok Koo Enjoyed Filming Netflix's 'D.P.'
Son Seok Koo previously received much attention after starring in JTBC's "My Liberation Notes." He then expanded his career with the new installment of "D.P.", where he reprised his role two years after the first season premiered.
In a media interview, Son Seok Koo shared his experience working again on the project.
According to him, the drama gave him a lot of energy as he felt like they had gathered together a group of talented actors.
The "Be Melodramatic" star added that he came on set without worrying about anything else except having fun while acting.
Son Seok Koo Admits to Being Mesmerized by Choi Hyun Wook's Acting
In the interview, Son Seok Koo admitted and candidly expressed his amazement to "rookie monster" actor Choi Hyun Wook. The two worked for the first time in the second installment of Netflix's original series "D.P."
Son Seok Koo was satisfied with his filmed scene with the "Weak Hero Class 1" star, and shared his impression on the young star.
"I fell for Hyun Wook ['s acting]. He is young, but even while acting, I asked him, 'How are you so good? How long have you been acting?' It took me a long time to act naturally, but he did so well."
The "Big Bet" star continued to be in awe at how well his young co-actors were.
As there were several new stars who act as soldiers in the drama, he was amazed to see how the young actors can act so well.
He specifically felt it while watching Choi Hyun Wook.
"I think I acted while continuously being surprised by him."
Meanwhile, in the drama's media interview, the "Twenty Five Twenty One" star expressed his gratitude to his seniors as he was comfortable working with them, especially with Son Seok Koo.
"I received a lot of help from him [Son Seok Koo]. He showed various sides to his character, and it was amazing."
Son Seok Koo Booked to Appear in 'Murderer o Nangam' & 'Troll Farm'
Son Seok Koo will have a busy year as he is booked with lots of projects without a break.
Following "D.P." he is confirmed to star in another Netflix work "Murderer o Nangam," which is tentatively for release this 2023. He will share the frame with Choi Woo Sik and Lee Hee Joon.
Adding to his schedule is "Troll Farm," which will be his next big screen comeback following the success of "The Roundup." Joining him in the movie are Kim Sung Cheol, Kim Dong Hwi, and Hong Kyung.
