Kim Woo Bin pens a heartfelt message as he mourns the passing of a fan.

The South Korean star took to social media as he bids goodbye to a loyal supporter.

Posted on August 27, Kim Woo Bin's Instagram featured a photo of the fan's letter with his name.

In a short yet sweet message, the "Our Blues" star expressed how he will truly miss the special friend.

"Bright and cheerful, Ji Won. I finally realized you always had a long and hard trip after I went to see you for the last goodbye," he wrote.

The message continued with Kim Woo Bin wishing that the fan would be proud of his upcoming projects and thanking how "grateful" he is for the fan's support.

"My heart aches so much because it was not long ago that you came to see me, smiling and asking my regards. Ji Won, I won't think of this as a permanent goodbye. I hope you're always smiling, healthy, and happy there so that when we meet again, we'll take lots of pictures together and catch up on what we've missed," he wrote, adding, "Please stay tuned as I'll do my best in the new projects that you've been looking forward to. I'm so grateful that you're my fan. Let's meet again."

In the comments section, fans and netizens thank Kim Woo Bin for his support and say goodbye to Jiwon, his fan.

The fan's sister also expressed gratitude for Kim Woo Bin's presence during the wake.

"Hello, this is Jiwon's older sister Yonghee. I was very grateful that the wreath arrived in the middle of the city. Thank you very much for coming and supporting my sister. I hope that you will always remain as a great actor that my sister remembers. I'll be rooting for you."

Kim Woo Bin New Drama: Actor Reunites with Bae Suzy

Since his return to the industry, Kim Woo Bin has been booked and busy with continuing projects, from films to K-dramas.

Following his first series in six years, after landing a lead role in "Our Blues," he starred in the hit Netflix series "Black Knight," where he once again showed his acting prowess and versatility.

Interestingly, Kim Woo Bin will return with an interesting K-drama. He will be reunited with "Uncontrollably Fond" co-star Bae Suzy for the rom-com fantasy series "Everything Will Come True."

The upcoming series is helmed by "Extreme Job," "Be Melodramatic," and "Dream" director Lee Byung Hun, along with screenwriter Kim Eun Sook of "The Glory" and "Goblin."

Kim Woo Bin takes on the role of Genie who comes out of a lamp, while Bae Suzy plays Ga Young, a person who lacks emotion but is given wishes by the Genie after she helps him get out of his lamp.
