The 43rd Korean Association of Film Critics Awards has unveiled the list of winners for this year's ceremony. Interestingly, GOT7's Jinyoung and Bae Doona's movie "Next Sohee" bagged major recognition at the annual event.

Held on September 1, the Korean Association of Film Critics is an annual ceremony that recognizes excellence in film.

Interestingly, 10 films were selected by the organization, which include "Next Sohee," "Dream Palace," "Smugglers," "The Hill of Secrets," "Green House," "The Night Owl," "The Apartment with Two Women," "In Water," "Killing Romance," and "The Element of Hope."

On the other hand, for the 43rd Korean Association of Film Critics Awards revealed the list of winners. GOT7's Jinyoung, whose real name is Park Jinyoung, took home the Best New Actor award for his movie "A Christmas Carol."

Showcasing his duality as an actor, the singer-actor takes on the roles of twins Wol Woo and Il Woo.

Meanwhile, Bae Doona's movie "Next Sohee" bagged the Best Movie award, while lead star Kim Si Eun won Best New Actress.

It can be recalled that the movie was first premiered at the Cannes Film Festival on May 25, 2022, alongside the award-winning film "Broker."

As for the Best Actress and Best Actor awards, "Green House" star Kim Seo Hyung and Ryu Jun Yeol of "The Night Owl took home respective titles.

Park Jinyoung New Drama: GOT7 Member Returns With Upcoming Series 'The Witch'

After landing an impressive cameo performance in "Reborn Rich," where he took on the role of Soonyang Group's rookie Shin Kyung Min, GOT7's Jinyoung will make a small screen comeback through the upcoming K-drama "The Witch."

Based on the webtoon written by Kang Full, who also created "Moving," the story focuses on a man who fell in love with what society calls a "witch."

Joining Park Jinyoung is "Our Beloved Summer" star Roh Jeong Eui.
