On September 3, "The Uncanny Counter 2" finally dropped its final episode which raked in the season's highest score in the entire broadcast.

The tvN drama depicts the double lives of noodle shop workers who transform into paranormal-hunters called "Counters" at night.

Starring Jo Byung Gyu, Kim Sejeong, Yeom Hye Ran, Yoo Jun Sang and Yoo In Soo, the Counters all do their best to stop the evil spirits that feed on humankind from dominating the world.

First released in 2020, the drama received the green light from the showrunners to release a new installment, all thanks to its profound storytelling and the cast's unrivaled chemistry.

The addition of Kang Ki Young, Jin Seon Kyu and Kim Hieora created a much more colorful setting for the series, which was greatly loved by the audiences.

At the season's finale, "The Uncanny Counter 2" recorded its personal best of 6.1% rating that doubled the score of the previous season's final episode.

The drama's success and popularity undoubtedly skyrocketed, and it even gained new followers from the viewers who just discovered the superhero drama.

Will There Be 'The Uncanny Counter' Season 3?

To say that the fans were heartbroken about Jo Byung Gyu's So Mun and Kim Sejeong's Do Ha Na is an understatement. They believe that the "love team" has so much potential.
