With only a few months left before wrapping up 2023,  Hallyu continues to deliver amazing new K-dramas that will surely get the viewers hooked on every episode. 

Interestingly, broadcast networks and streaming platforms have started the month with a bang as a slew of amazing new K-dramas are premiering this week.

From rom-coms to melodramas to highly anticipated sequels, you name it! And with that, here are two new K-dramas airing this first week of September plus a list of ongoing K-dramas that you need to watch before they end.

New K-drama: 'A Time Called You'

After making our hearts flutter in "A Business Proposal" and "Dr. Romantic 3" Ahn Hyo Seop returns with a new K-drama alongside Jeon Yeo Been. 

The duo stars in the thriller mystery romance K-drama "A Time Called You," directed by Kim Jin Won of "The Package" and "Just Between Lovers" and "Jeong Nayeon" screenwriter Choi Hyo Bi. 

The upcoming K-drama depicts the story of a grieving woman named Han Joon Hee (Jeon Yeo Been), who struggles to move on from the death of her boyfriend Gu Yeon Joon (Ahn Hyo Seop.)

However, she found herself transported back to 1998 as a high school student. 

He recognized a familiar face who looked exactly like his boyfriend.

"A Time Called You" release date is set for September 8, and all episodes will be released on the same day. This will air exclusively via Netflix.

New K-drama: 'Arthdal Chronicles' Season 2

After years of waiting, finally, the beloved historical romance fantasy K-drama "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" returns. 

However, season 2 featured major changes, especially with the lead character bit; nevertheless, viewers are excited to witness the chemistry of Lee Joon Gi and Shin Se Kyung, who played Sa Ya and Tan Ya, which were initially the roles of Song Joong Ki and Kim Ji Won.

On the other hand, the "Arthdal Chronicles" cast also includes returning characters like Jang Dong Gun as King Ta Gon and his wife Tae Al Ha, played by Kim Ok Bin. 

Viewers will get to watch the "Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun" premiere on September 9 every Saturday and Sunday via tvN and Disney+

Ongoing K-drama: 'Moving'

 

If you are not watching the hottest K-drama right now, you are missing an amazing masterpiece! Moving," which stars Han Hyo Joo, Jo In Sung, Ryu Seung Ryong, Go Yoon Jung, and more, depicts the story of individuals with superhuman abilities. 

Often called Korean "Avengers," the characters showcased different superpowers but tried to live as normal as possible. 

Initially aired on August 9, the 20-part episode can be streamed via Disney+ and Hulu. 

'The Killing Vote'

 If you are up for some suspense and mind-boggling shows, then "The Killing Vote" is for you. 

Headlined by Lim Ji Yeon, Park Hae Jin, and Park Sung Woong, it depicts the story of a masked man who punishes perpetrators for their evil crimes.

"The Killing Vote" airs every Thursday via SBS, with the finale episode set to broadcast on October 26.
