Following the bombshell news regarding breakout star Kim Hieora, Dispatch revealed more receipts involving the actress with the notorious Iljin gang during her middle school years.

In an exclusive report, the outlet published a handwritten letter that the actress personally wrote to reporters who were covering the school violence suspicion.

It was last May, months after "The Glory" part 2 ended and ahead of her then-upcoming K-drama "The Uncanny Counter" season 2.

Kim Hieora Personally Wrote to Reporter Covering Her Story

As posted by Dispatch, the handwritten letter was dated May 17, 2023, with the actress addressing it to reporter Kim So Jung. At the time, the reporter was covering her story regarding the alleged school bullying issue.

In a lengthy message, the actress said that she is "grateful and apologetic" for taking time to meet her and "put so much effort" into her story.

She then continued and explained why she was writing the letter, and that was to share her thoughts about the incident.

Acknowledging that she "went astray" and was "immature" when she was young, Kim Heiora said that she was "embarrassed" by who she was and "reprimanding" herself for it.

"Ever since I was young, I was either at the center of attention or the target of bullying and exclusion because of my uncommon name and uncommon appearance," she said, adding, "With those feelings of inferiority, I entered my second year of middle school, and against my will, issues arose over my older cousin."

The actress said that she was caught up in a situation where she "could not stand still and tell people to leave me alone."

Calling it an "immature decision," Kim Hieora explained, "I decided that being someone at the center of attention was better than being bullied or excluded."

The actress continued and pointed out that she "never harmed or bullied anyone repetitively for pleasure."

Admitting that she was not a "model student" back then, she mentioned that despite the existence of the group, referring to the BIG SANJI, a bullying gang in Sangji Girls' Middle School, she regretted her being a part of it and has decided to turn things around in high school and "lived diligently with the intention of being a good influence on others."

Concluding the length statement, Kim Hieora asked for a second chance and promised to "live always" by repaying her debts.

"I want to show you a good side through a good production. Or if you don't want to see me in any more productions, I will show you that I can change and grow with time and effort," she said.
