The Hallyu scene is in shambles after Kim Hieora, one of the hottest stars today, gets exposed for her dark past.

She is facing a crisis after being embroiled in a controversy over school violence to which she denies instantly. Kim Hieora, however, admits to being a "bystander."

The rising actress was a member of the school gang called Big Sangji at Sangji Girls' Middle School but her agency, GRAM Entertainment, firmly denied her participation in school violence.

Amidst the issue, the fans weigh in and express their opinions. Some say that the actress is only dragged due to her skyrocketing popularity after "The Glory" and "The Uncanny Counter 2."

Unfortunately, many believe that she's guilty of everything that has been said about her. To recall, the production crew of "The Glory" did a background check on the cast to avoid issues as the drama involves the themes of bullying and school violence.

It is speculated that Kim Hieora had lied and even created a "sob story" for her audition, saying that she had been bullied due to her "unique appearance" and Christian background.

During the broadcast of "The Glory," Kim Hieora stopped operating her café in Seoul, closing it temporarily for a simple renovation.

However, the fans believe that she did it out of remorse as well as to preserve her privacy when news about her past breaks out.

Kim Hieora Apologizes To The Public

At the moment, Kim Hieora is put under the microscope, and is harshly criticized by online spectators and former fans.

Due to the issue, Kim Hieora's participation in the musical of "Frida" is put on-hold. She was also pulled out of the production of "SNL Korea 4" episode 9 according to Coupang Play.

Meanwhile, GRAM Entertainment stated that they will take legal actions against malicious actions that defame Kim Hieora. The actress then released an apology statement through her company after taking massive hits from the public.

"I'm sorry to everyone who was hurt by the issue. I promise to avoid lies from this day forward," Kim Hieora said in an Instagram post on September 7.
