'Twinkling Watermelon' Drops New Teasers Ahead of Premiere
On September 8, anticipation for Ryeoun, Shin Eun Soo, Seol In Ah and Choi Hyun Wook's upcoming drama "Twinkling Watermelon" was amplified after a new set of teasers was released.
The series is a fantasy coming of age drama wherein a CODA (child of deaf adult) student who is gifted with an inkling for music accidentally travels back in time to 1995 after entering a music shop.
He forms a band called Watermelon Sugar with other mysterious youths, singing about life, their woes and their dreams.
Ryeoun takes on the role of Eun Gyeol, the only person who can hear in his deaf family. He lives a double life as a student and a guitarist by night.
Meanwhile, Choi Hyun Wook plays drummer Lee Chan. Seol In Ah transforms into cello goddess Se Kyung while Shin Eun Soo plays ice princess Chung Ah who's hard of hearing.
The quartet enjoys the youthful time of their lives on a sandy beach in the newly published poster. They are all smiles as they chase each other around, creating beautiful memories together.
