The penultimate episode of the hit drama "The First Responders 2" was finally released. For six weeks, the SBS drama dominated prime time with its relevant narrative and production.

On September 8, SBS TV dropped the penultimate episode of "The First Responders 2."

Unlike their previous works, the episode didn't only hook viewers but also received great responses from the viewers. It even recorded its personal best with 8% nationwide rating.

However, episode 11 made a lot of fans raise their eyebrows due to the heart-wrenching twist in the series. Following Son Ho Jun's Bong Do Jin, Kim Rae Won's character also faced his demise.

In the series, Jeong Sung Woo's Dex mercilessly took the police detective down without much fight. Jin Ho Gae is seen gasping for air as he exhales his final breath.

The fans took to social media their disappointment about the death of the main character. One fan said, "Are the writers okay? How could they kill the main character? I'm dropping this show."

Another viewer believes that it was just a set-up, hoping that everything works out in the end. Meanwhile, some remain hopeful, saying that the drama portrays real-life happenings that give resonance to each viewer.
