Park Shin Hye Returns With Rom-Com Series 'Doctor Slump'
The long wait is over as Hallyu favorite actress Park Shin Hye is now coming back to the small screen with Park Hyung Sik in JTBC's romantic comedy series "Doctor Slump."
Park Shin Hye transforms into an anesthesiologist named Nam Ha Neul. She is a genius who never had a fun night in her life as she buried her nose in books during her younger years.
Meanwhile, Park Hyung Sik plays celebrity plastic surgeon Yeo Jung Woo, he's a perfect human being who has never experienced any troubles in his life.
"Doctor Slump" marks the fateful meeting of the two doctors who live extremely different lives. When a malpractice takes place, the unfortunate incident brngs the two closer togehter.
With the drama's quirky and riveting enough narrative, fans are excited to tune in to Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik's work.
It also marks their first ever project together 10 years after working together on the hit teen romance series "The Heirs" in 2013. This doubles the fun and anticipation among viewers.

Park Shin Hye Reveals Reasons For Choosing 'Doctor Slump'
After giving birth to her son in 2022, Park Shin Hye excitedly announced her return to the spotlight with the JTBC drama.
In an interview, she expressed her excitement for the show, saying, "It's my first rom-com drama after a long while. I'm pretty excited and nervous at the same time."
Park Shin Hye fell in love with her well-rounded character in the show. She even stated that she feels connected to Nam Ha Neul after reading the script.
"I think everyone has a moment of depression so my heart goes out to the character," she added. "I could relate to her on many levels that's why I want to take on the challenge."
Park Shin Hye has starred in many works and even tried various genres. JTBC's "Doctor Slump" marks her first rom-com series in a while, and her comeback drama after becoming a mother.
