Netflix & 'Gyeongseong Creature 2' Team Mourn the Passing of Staff Member
Netflix is set to release "Gyeongseong Creature," starring Park Seo Joon and Han So Hee. The series' season 1 finished filming in October 2022 and even before it hit the screen, the production confirmed to have season 2, which is currently underway.
Unfortunately, on September 21, while everyone was preparing for the drama's much-awaited release, the public was saddened after the production delivered shocking news.
According to a news report, a staff member working in the props department of "Gyeongseong Creature 2" has died. The cause of death has not yet been determined, and the police have already requested an autopsy from the NFS (National Forensic Service) to know what exactly had happened.
After the news broke on the internet, Netflix released a statement and offered their condolences.
"We cannot help but feel sorry for the deceased staff member, we hope they may rest in peace. We also would like to express and offer our sincere condolences to the bereaved family."

The representative added that Netflix is currently in close communication with the production company to resolve the situation.
What We Know So Far About Netflix's 'Gyeongseong Creature'
Meanwhile, "Gyeongseong Creature" is a fantasy-thriller series that presents the story of two young adults who face off against a creature born from human greed and fight for survival in the spring of 1945.
Park Seo Joon is Jang Tae Sang, considered one of the richest men in Gyeongseong and the owner of the Golden Jade House pawnshop. He has a naturally keen knowledge of everything. He is also known for his sociable personality, making him a popular figure in Bukchon.
Opposite him is Han So Hee, who will play the role of Yoon Chae Ok, who a lot of her time searching for missing people. Ever since she was young, she's already been living independently with her father as they navigate a journey from Manchuria to Shanghai.
She is skilled at working with guns, knives, and other sorts of machinery.
"Dr. Romantic" writer Kang Eun Kyung and "Stove League" director Jung Dong Yoon joined forces for this epic series.
Wi Ha Joon, Bae Hyun Sung, Su Hyun, Kim Hae Sook, and Jo Han Chul are also confirmed to appear in season 2.
"Gyeongseong Creature" is tentatively for release in the second half of 2023. Other details and additional cast members are yet to be confirmed.
The second installment's release, on the other hand, is still in discussion.
