'Destined With You' Episode 9: Lee Hong Jo Worries About Jang Shin Yu & Cursed Doll
In "Destined With You" episode 9, Lee Hong Jo suffered from extreme anxiety from the cursed doll to the suspicious shadow that chased her. She was in fear and even had nightmares about a series of incidents.
Jang Shin Yu, on the other hand, who was unconscious at the hospital also made Hong Jo worried about his condition. She was texting him but still had no response from the lawyer.
She received a message, assuming it was from Shin Yu, but was disappointed to know that it was sent by Kwon Jae Kyung (Ha Joon).

Lee Hong Jo's worries grew deeper, and was anxiously waiting for Jang Shin Yu's update, and rushed to the hospital to visit him.
Luckily, he already woke up after being asleep for two days.
The civil servant showed her concern to Shin Yu and confessed that she was more worried about the cursed doll, so she requested the wooden box back.
According to her, the reason Shin Yu's disease worsened was because of the cursed doll and wanted to do something about it.
Lee Hong Jo Asks Help From Eun Wol to Break the Curse in Jang Shin Yu's Body
Jang Shin Yu was glad that Lee Hong Jo was worried about him.
However, he couldn't return to work as he needed to go on a trip after his discharge. Shin Yu said that if she asked him not to go, he would listen and stay with her.
Back to her house, Lee Hong Jo opened the black magic book with discomfort as she found the spell about the cursed doll. She went to Eun Wol (Kim Hye Ok), the shaman, showing the picture of the cursed doll, and the shaman advised her to try the spell again.
As long as she believes in the spell, it will help her solve her misery.
Jang Shin Yu Confesses Genuine Love for Lee Hong Jo
Meanwhile, the Onju City Hall's committee prepared the Buyongjae Festival where traditional performances were introduced. The vibe reminded Lee Hong Jo of Jang Shin Yu and tried to call him even though he was on a trip. But still got no answer from him.
As Hong Jo walked around the place, a familiar figure appeared, it was none other than Jang Shin Yu. The two exchanged gazes in the middle of the crowd. With longing in his eyes, Shin Yu came closer to Hong Jo, and without hesitation, he confessed his love for her.
According to him, with or without the spell, he has completely fallen in love with her.
A flashback appeared showcasing their past lives 300 years ago, proving that they are fated to find and love each other in any lifetime.
A shocking revelation also happened as Yoon Na Yeon (Yura) joined forces with Lee Ho Beom (Ahn Sang Woo) to get rid of Jang Shin Yu and Lee Hong Jo's blossoming romance.
