Nam Joo Hyuk stars in a dual role in the upcoming K-drama "Vigilante." 

The long wait is over for fans as one of the highly-anticipated series of 2023 is about to come. After months of waiting, Disney+ has finally unveiled a sneak peek for the upcoming webtoon-based series that boasts an amazing cast lineup.

'Vigilante' Release Date, Trailer, Official Poster

Following his hit K-drama "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" with Kim Tae Ri, viewers will get to see Nam Joo Hyuk in a different light as he plays a dark hero character in "Vigilante."

Taking on the role of Kim Ji Young, he is a model student at the National Police University by day but lives a double life by punishing criminals by being a vigilante.

Far from his boy-next-door roles, Nam Joo Hyuk showcased his versatility as an actor through action scenes.

In addition, joining him as the fearless detective looking into the case of the vigilante is "Money Heist: Korea" star Yoo Ji Tae as Jo Heon. As seen in the teaser, he will do whatever it takes to track down the mysterious vigilante.

Meanwhile, Lee Joon Hyuk plays the vice chairman of DK Group, Cho Kang Ok. Apart from this, he is also the architect of Vigilante. Due to his respect for the mysterious man. He also acts as his assistant.

Adding to the list of cast members is Kim So Jin, who portrays the role of Choi Mi Ryeo, a broadcaster responsible for informing the public about the Vigilante.

Besides the show's first trailer, Disney+ also dropped the official release date of an upcoming webtoon-based series.

"Vigilante" will premiere on November 8 via Disney+ and Hulu, with a total of 8 episodes for the whole season.

Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, "Vigilante" depicts the story of a police university student who lives with his alter ego as a dark hero named Vigilante.
