Nam Joo Hyuk recently made headlines after his agency, Management SOOP, confirmed that the actor started his mandatory military service last March 20.

However, the label has a request to fans of the South Korean heartthrob as he continues his enlistment.

Nam Joo Hyuk's Agency Requests Fans to Refrain From Sending Gifts to the Actor

Currently, Nam Joo Hyuk is undergoing basic training at the army training center for five weeks. Following this, the actor plans to fulfill his military duty as a member of the Military Police Force's task force.

Days after Nam Joo Hyuk's enlistment, the agency advised fans not to bring gifts for the actor.

In an Instagram post, Management SOOP politely asked his supporters to "refrain from sending letters and gifts" while the 29-year-old star is serving his military duties.

"We appreciate and thank you for your support, however, if a large number of letters and posts arrive at once, they might not be delivered," the post reads.

On the other hand, for those who still wish to give letters to Nam Joo Hyuk, the agency suggests sending it " to the company as much as possible in the future as well as after being deployed to the training center."

Along with the post is an address where the actor's fans could send presents to express support for Nam Joo Hyuk.

As mentioned, Nam Joo Hyuk surprised the public after it was announced that the "Twenty-Five Twenty-One" star is among the celebrities who will join the enlistment.

Along with him are N. Flying's Cha Hun, Golden Child's Y, and VICTON's Seungsik, who all enlisted in the military last March 20.

To recall, his label announced on January 31 that the actor has "passed the military police task force exam and is expected to officially enlist in March."

Prior to Nam Joo Hyuk's enlistment, the 29-year-old wrapped up his upcoming projects starting with the upcoming Disney+ original series "Vigilante."

Nam Joo Hyuk Stars in 'Vigilante'

The webtoon-based K-drama "Vigilante" depicts the story of a student at the police academy, named Ji Yong, who becomes a vigilante and kills criminals. What prompted him to do this is after he lost his mother after being killed by a group of gangster.

However, in one of his missions, he gets caught by the reporter Choi Mi Ryeo, played by Kim So Jin along with investigator Jo Heon, portrayed by "Money Heist: Korea" star Yoo Ji Tae.

With this, the mysterious vigilante gets the spotlight from the media, highlighting his mission.

On the another hand, the "Vigilante" cast also includes Lee Joon Hyuk as Cho Kang Ok, the vice chairman of DK Group and creator of Vigilante. In the upcoming K-drama, he will be working with Nam Joo Hyuk.
