‘Song of the Bandits’ Episodes 5-7: Kim Nam Gil Battles His Feelings for Seohyun

As they navigate their bloody journey, Lee Shin (Kim Nam Gil) battles with the contract killer Eon Nyeon (Lee Ho Jung) and his longing feelings for Nam Hee Shin in "Song of the Bandits."

Episode 5: Lee Yoon & Nam Hee Shin Meet Amid Money War

Lee Yoon unexpectedly met Nam Hee Shin at the restaurant after an attack occurred at the police station. Gwang Il (Lee Hyun Wook) saw Lee Yoon and asked if he saw someone suspicious and he denied it. 

Hee Shin thanked Lee Yoon for saving her. 

Elsewhere, Lee Yoon learned that Eon Nyeon was the one who had the money. Together with his team, they planned to go to Changchun and attacked the train to retrieve the money. Lee Yoon was shocked when he saw that Hee Shin was the one he needed to kill. Eon Nyeon arrived and an intense fight between the two started again. 

Gwang Il and his army men stopped the train to also get the money. He then recognized Eon and arrested her. Due to his greed for money, Gwang Il ambushed the train where innocent people were killed. Luckily, Nam Hee Shin was able to escape with the money bag but was badly injured. Lee Yoon arrived when dacoits were about to kill her.

Lee Yoon learned that Hee Shin was working for the independence of Joseon and promised to help her and ensure that the money would reach the right person. However, when they were about to hand the money bag, Hee Shin realized that they were not the Independence Army fighters. She was shot and critically wounded.

Episode 6: Eon Nyeon Determined to Kill Lee Yoon

Eon started looking for Lee Yoon as Gwang Il asked her to kill him. She went to Chung Soo and confessed her motive, he tried to change her mind but it didn't work. No one in the group believed her, but Chung Soo tasked the group to look for Lee Yoon.

Meanwhile, Lee Yoon was in the village taking care of the wounded Nam Hee Shin. After three days, Hee Shin decided to visit the Independence Army as they needed the money already. Lee Yoon offered to deliver the money, but she rejected his offer. 

Chung Soo and the group found them, and a small fight arose between them. However, they were alarmed after the Japanese Army signaled that they were coming. 

Lee Yoon crashed with Gwang Il again and threatened to kill him if they didn't leave, which the latter obeyed. Lee Yoon also asked Chung Soo to leave and said that he would deliver the money to them. 

Eon followed Chung Soo again. This time she confessed that if she failed to kill Lee Yoon, it would be dangerous for her.

Episode 7: Lee Yoon & Eon Nyeon Go Against Gwang Il

Lee Yoon escorted Hee Shin reaching Seon Bok, who was going to help her contact an Independence Army member to give the money. Eon was also spying on them as she planned to kill him. 

Eon changed her mind about killing Lee Yoon after knowing that his parents were also killed like hers'. She tried to shoot him, but Police Inspector Oka arrived and pointed a gun at her. She ended up being arrested and threatened to be hanged in front of everyone. 

Gwang Il then planned to attack Lee Yoon. Chung Soo knew about this and asked his men to get ready to help Lee Yoon. 

Gwang Il arrived at the hotel with his men and started firing. Meanwhile, Oka thought that Gwang ll tried to save Eon and marched towards the hotel. Oka had a face off with Gwang Il. Eon on the other hand, escaped and shot Gwang Il, and then a war escalated. 

Due to what happened, Eon and Lee Yoon teamed up as both of them wanted revenge on Gwang Il. Lee Yoon was cornered by the army men. When he was about to be killed, an arrow came and killed the man, who was about to shoot Lee Yoon. It was Chung Soo, along with his men, all of them began fighting against the Army Police.

Chung Soo asked Lee Yoon to deliver the money to Nam Hee Shin. But they were followed by Gwang Il and his men. Fortunately, Hee Shin was able to reach her destination. Before they parted ways, Hee Shin told Lee Yoon to take care and the two kissed.
