Han So He Reveals Reason Behind Facial Piercings: ‘I don’t see anything disgusting’

In an Instagram post, the "Nevertheless" star showed off her new lip piercings. Following her post, the South Korean star did an Instagram live where she answered questions from fans.

Han So Hee Gets Honest About Her New Look

During Han So Hee's Instagram broadcast on September 25, the actress updated fans with her activities off and on cam.

As obtained by a media outlet, the actress shared that she has just finished filming her drama series, which is most likely "Gyeongseong Creature" season 2 with Park Seo Joon.

She also added that she'll be taking a brief break to rest so her "body won't get strained during other schedules," adding that it's not anything related to commercials or photoshoots.

As the Instagram live continues, Han So Hee apologizes for talking differently because of her lip piercings.

"My lips are a little swollen because of the piercings, so I cannot talk a lot today," she said, adding that people might not recognize her because of her new piercings and hairstyle since she also got bangs, but some did.

Moreover, the actress also shared her recent encounter with a fan: "While walking around confidently, two women came from behind and asked for a photo with me. I felt so happy and agreed to their request," she said.

Han So He Shares Why She Decided to Get New Piercings

Showing off her five new piercings, Han So Hee said that it hurt when she had her lips pierced, but it was less painful on the cheek part.

The actress also discussed how she'll have to deal with it during work and explained that she can take it off when working.

As for the reason why she decided to get it, Han So Hee gave a simple answer and said, "I got piercings because I had never done that before. If the piercings are helpful for my work, I'm thinking about not taking them off," expressing how she prioritizes her career.

Regarding the concerns about leaving a scar on her face, she explained that it will only leave a scar when you have it for a long time, and as for her, she is not worried about it because there is a physical method of removing it.

Although some had mixed reactions to her visuals, Han So Hee said, "I don't see anything disgusting," showing that she embraces her unique personality despite being an actress.

This is not the first time that the actress has made headlines for her bold decision to change her appearance. While having tattoos in Korea is still taboo, Han So Hee proudly shows them off on Instagram and during her campaign for Balenciaga.
