Rowoon Fatefully Meets His Rival Cho Yi Hyun In 'The Matchmakers'
On September 28, the first-ever trailer for Rowoon and Cho Yi Hyun's new drama "The Matchmakers" was finally released.
It tells the stories of a widow and a widower from the Joseon dynasty whose main job is to marry off young maidens to well-off families.
Rowoon plays Shim Jung Woo, a handsome Joseon man who becomes a matchmaker when his own marriage falls apart after a royal family member dies in the ceremony.

Meanwhile, Cho Yi Hyun transforms into Jung Soon Deok, a noblewoman who lives a double life as a self-proclaimed "best matchmaker" in the city.
The teaser captures the two characters' fateful first meeting. It begins with a deafening silence when Shim Jung Woo introduces himself as the "best matchmaker in Joseon" to Jung Soon Deok who's clearly irritated with his flamboyance.
However, things soon become romantic, hinting at the subtle changes between the two. Jung Soon Deok feels her heart throb inside her chest after Shim Jung Woo confesses his love to her.
