K-drama fans are used to seeing Ryu Seung Ryong do heavy drama, but rarely in the action genre. However, he managed to deliver unexpected scenes in "Moving," especially the intense fight with Lee Jae Man, played by Kim Sung Kyun.

According to the actor, he is very thankful for "Moving" for being able to show a different side of him as an actor.

Ryu Seung Ryong promised to continue and deliver "great works" as an actor.

Other than "Moving," the 52-year-old star headlined a slew of hit movies and series, one of which is the popular drama film "Miracle in Cell No. 7," where he played the role of a mentally challenged father who was impromisoned and sentenced to death after being wrongly accused.

The movie took home the Audience Choice Award for Most Popular Movie at the 2013 Blue Dragon Film Awards, and Ryu Seung Ryong even won Best Actor at the 2013 Daejong Film Awards.

As for his career, he considered himself a "late bloomer" and recalled how the late Professor Kim Hyo Kyung, who is also his mentor, told him not to be impatient with his career and described him as a "late-blooming flower."

What's Next for Ryu Seung Ryong?

As of this writing, there's no official statement yet from the drama officials or Disney+ as to whether "Moving" season 2 will get a green light or if the majority of the cast members will reprise their roles.

However, viewers are looking forward to seeing the OG cast, including Ryu Seung Ryong and Go Yoon Jung's tandem as father and daughter.

Meanwhile, viewers could expect a lot of on-screen appearances from Ryu Seung Ryong. One of his upcoming K-dramas is the webtoon-based comedy thriller K-drama "Chicken Nugget" with Kim Yoo Jung, Ahn Jae Hong, and Kim Nam Gil.

Set to be released on Netflix, the upcoming series will premiere sometime in 2024.
