In 2022, Cha Eun Woo took a break from the romance genre as he headlined the horror-fantasy series "Island," which consisted of 2 parts. He donned a priest's robe and transformed into an exorcist in the webtoon-based drama.

He played the role of Yo Han and as it was his first action genre project, Cha Eun Woo impressed the audience with his stunts and stable acting.
