Jung So Min talks about her career journey after being in the industry for over 13 years.

The actress, who captivates viewers with her charm in the hit series "Playful Kiss," dishes on her thoughts about doing another rom-com project.

Following her appearance in "Project Wolf Hunting" with Seo In Guk, Jung So Min returns to the big screen with the movie "30 Days," which will surely bring warmth and entertainment to the audience.

In her interview with local media outlet Ten Asia, the 34-year-old beauty looked back at her career journey as an actress.

Jung So Min Has No Worries About Doing Rom-Com Projects

For some, it is considered "retirement work" to do rom-coms, especially comedy genres.

Due to this, it raises concern that Jung So Min might ruin her career if she solidifies her name as a comedic actress.

However, as for the 34-year-old beauty, she seemed unbothered by it and expressed that there's nothing she needs to worry about.

"I don't think I have any such worries," she said, adding, "No matter what genre I play, I don't think I've ever thought about that before," expressing confidence in her work and adding that she is doing her best in whatever project she gets into.

It can be recalled that prior to "30 Days," Jung So Min played one of the lead stars of the popular fantasy romance series "Alchemy of Souls" as well as the action crime film "Project Wolf Hunting," which both aired in the same year.

Adding to the list of her hit projects, she was also nominated and won various awards; one of the latest was a nomination for the Top Excellence Award in the Actress category for the series "Alchemy of Souls" at the 2022 Korean Drama Awards.

Jung So Min 'Thankful' for '30 Days Director: Here's Why

Discussing more of her new movie, Jung So Min expresses gratitude to director Nam Dae Jung, with whom she first worked in the movie "Homme Fatale."

"One of the things I am grateful to the director for is that he made the atmosphere on set so good," she said, adding that she both had fun and enjoyed the atmosphere in "Homme Fatale" and "30 Days."

In the rom-com film, Jung So Min takes on the role of Hong Na Ra, a movie producer with a confident personality. She is faithful to her job and has a straightforward attitude.

Interestingly, she meets No Jung Yeol, played by Kang Ha Neul, which leads to marriage.

However, in a short span of time, they realized that they had a lot of differences, prompting them to file for divorce.

In the last stage of their divorce procedure, they get into a car accident, causing them to lose their memories.

"30 Days" is scheduled to be released on October 3, with a run time of 2 hours.
