Jung So Min On Choosing '30 Days' As Comeback Film

This 2023, Jung So Min's fans are in for a treat as the Hallyu superstar returns to the big screen with a brand new film.

The actress reunites with "Twenty" co-star Kang Ha Neul in the upcoming film "30 Days" which follows the comical lives of a married couple in the brink of divorce.

However, their lives take an unexpected turn when they both suffer from amnesia 30 days before their fateful divorce.

In the film, Jung So Min plays Na Ra, an eccentric woman who has a strong personality. She works as a film producer opposite Kang Ha Neul's Jung Yeol who is a lawyer.

While Jung So Min has done many rom-com dramas in the past, "30 Days" focuses more on the comedy side, which won not only her heart but also her colleagues who attended the VIP premiere.

"I'm never satisfied with my acting in any project," Jung So Min confessed. "But seeing how everyone enjoyed the show, I felt a sense of pride."

The actress admitted that she was hesitant to do the project due to its comical nature. Thankfully, the fast-paced narration and intriguing characters reeled the actress in.

"I thought to myself that I could have great fun doing the film," Jung So Min said.

In particular, Jung So Min aims to show the public the unique concept of romance through "30 Days," and also give comfort to the couples who are at a crossroad in their relationships.

Jung So Min Shares Affection For '30 Days' Character

From "Playful Kiss" to "Alchemy of Souls," Jung So Min's characters have always received great love from the audiences.

This fall, Jung So Min expects that her new acting role will also receive the same reception despite Na Ra, her character, being completely different from her.

"As an INFJ, I think Na Ra would be ESTP," Jung So Min said, talking about their MBTI personalities. "We're completely different but it's refreshing to play a character who's the opposite of me."

Jung So Min stated that Na Ra's fiery side and quick-tempered personality would be her character's charming points that will steal every viewer's heart away.
