"Parasite" became one of South Korea's prides after bagging a historic win at the 2020 Academy Awards, after it was hailed as the winner in four categories. From Best Picture, Best Screenplay, Best International Feature, and Best Director-the "Parasite" mania indeed swept the Oscars.

Directed by award-winning Bong Joon Ho, the satirical thriller film depicts the story of two families with different backgrounds.

Kim Gi Taek, the patriarch, and his family of four lived in a semi-basement rental property. They experience unimaginable struggles, especially during the rainy season.

However, his son, Kim Gi Woo, sees an opportunity to tutor a rich family with the help of his friend.

He then met the Park family, who lived in a spacious and museum-like house. Kim Gi Woo managed to refer his whole family to the Park's not knowing what lies ahead.
