THIS ‘The Penthouse' Villain to Make Cameo in ‘The Escape of the Seven’
Kim So Yeon wowed the viewers with her amazing portrayal of primadonna Cheon Seo Jin in the hit K-drama "The Penthouse." Interestingly, the award-winning actress will have a special appearance in "The Escape of the Seven."
Helmed by the director and writer of "The Penthouse" trilogy, the newest SBS Makjang series depicts a father's revenge for the disappearance of his daughter.
As the K-drama entered the second half of the season, the broadcast network teased viewers with more exciting changes.
Kim So Yeon to Have Special Appearance in 'The Escape of the Seven'
In an exclusive report cited by Star News, Kim So Yeon is expected to play a cameo role in one of the episodes of "The Escape of the Seven."
Moreover, the outlet also mentioned the production team's confirmation regarding the actress' special appearance.
"Indeed, Kim So Yeon will have a guest appearance," the team said. Unfortunately, they didn't give out more details regarding her character but advised the viewers to look forward to the actress' appearance.
"Please find out more about it when you watch the broadcast," the team added.

With her cameo role in "The Escape of the Seven," viewers are excited to see a reunion between "The Penthouse" cast members Uhm Ki Joon, Shin Eun Kyung, and Yoon Jong Hoon.
It can be recalled that Uhm Ki Joon played Kim So Yeon's on-screen husband as the actor took on the role of the viscous antagonist, Joo Dan Tae.
Meanwhile, Yoon Jong Hoon is Kim So Yeon's ex-husband, and Han Yoon Chul, or Shin Eun Kyung, plays one of Seo Jin's neighbors at Hera Palace.
'The Escape of the Seven' Episodes 7 and 8
"The Escape of the Seven" follows the story of a grand revenge against seven people involved in the disappearance of a missing girl, named Bang Da Mi.
As mentioned, other than Uhm Ki Joon, Shin Eun Kyung, and Yoon Jong Hoon, the cast also includes Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, Jo Yoon Hee, Jo Jae Yoon, Yoon Tae Young, and veteran actor Lee Deok Hwa as lead stars.
The thriller mystery series airs every Friday and Saturday through SBS, while global viewers can catch new episodes via Viu, Viki, Kocowa, Prime Video, and Wavve.
However, the supposed 7th and 8th episodes of the series got delayed for the Asian Games 2023.
As a result, "The Escape of the Seven" episodes 7 and 8 release date has been pushed back to next week, which means the show will be back on its regular programming on October 13 and 14.
