MBC's new weekday series "A Good Day to Be a Dog," set to premiere this October 11, is already garnering interest for its unique narrative about a woman who turns into a dog when she kisses, and a man who is the only key to free her from the curse, but is unfortunately afraid of dogs.

This drama adaptation is said to have good casting and already boasts perfect synchronization to their respective characters.

Without further ado, here are the things to look forward to in the soon-to-release drama!

1. Fresh Romance Storyline

"A Good Day to Be a Dog" features an exciting story of a woman who is cursed to transform into a dog when she kisses a man. However, the only person who can help her is a man who is afraid of dogs due to his trauma.

Cha Eun Woo, who takes the role of Jin Seo Won, said that it is a refreshing subject of a protagonist turning into a dog due to a kiss. It is a fun drama that will make the audience laugh.

He described the series as "candy," and explained that even though the characters have various kinds of relationships, the story will tickle the viewers and will give a sweet feeling as they watch it.

2. Adorable & Different Breeds of Dogs to Appear in the K-Drama

Adding excitement to the drama is that it will feature different kinds of dogs that will surely capture the hearts of the viewers.

Park Gyu Young mentioned that since the production team aimed to look almost exactly identical to the original webtoon, the actors prepared costumes and clothes the same as in the original work.

She also mentioned that viewers can look forward to the different dogs that will appear in various scenes. She hopes that the audience will enjoy seeing them while watching the series.

The actress admitted that she gained a lot of strength from seeing each character's developments in the story.

3. Characters Relationships and Chemistry

The most interesting point is the intriguing relationships of each character to one another, who happen to hide their own secrets in life.

Attention is also focused on the kind of chemistry that the trio and other cast members will showcase throughout the series.

According to Lee Hyun Woo, who will portray the role of Lee Bo Kyum, a Korean history teacher who is hiding a big secret said that the viewers will be able to enjoy watching "A Good Day to Be a Dog" even more if they pay attention to the chemistry between the characters and empathize with the emotions they show in their respective journeys.

The actor described the drama as 'love' as the project itself is a truly lovely series in which the whole story unfolds because of love.

The fantasy-romance drama will begin airing in October 11 on MBC.
