Tagon Calls Truce

Episode 9 begins with Nunbyeol (Lee Si Woo) revealing her identity to Tagon (Jang Dong Gun).

She once again attacks the latter, who pleads for his life. Right then, an Arthdal threatens to kill Chaeeun (Ha Seung Ri) if the king gets killed.

The Neanthals back off, sending Tagon to treatment. Meanwhile, Tae Alha (Kim Ok Vin) is found with her hands tied.

Tanya receives news of what went down and notifies Eunseom (Lee Joon Gi). Saya then arrives before Tagon who lets him choose between killing Tanya or himself.

Saya Makes Huge Decision

Saya chooses the former without hesitation. Before he kills himself off, he warns Tagon about the real Aramun and to remember his face as it's the same one who will end his reign.

Tagon informs Tanya about Saya's death. He also sends the commanders to the battlefield to achieve victory against the Ago tribe.

The queen hears about the news. With this, she hands her earrings in exchange for more updates. However, Tagon learns about this and captures Tae Alha.

Meanwhile, Tanya believes that Saya is still alive. She then begins her own plans before anyone notices her next moves.

Eunseom Finally Attacks Tagon

Eunseom then reveals vital information about Tagon's attack and war-waging. The following day, the former prepares traps to win against Tagon.

Soon, the Arthdal army surrounds Eunseom's tribe. When Eunseom shorts, the army charges with their cavalry.

Thankfully, the Ago tribe becomes a force as they suppress Tagon's attacks. WIth this, Tagon's rage further intensifies. He jumps into fight Eunseom in a one on one brawl.

However, Tagon is surprised to see a familiar face which is similar to Saya's. Eunseom then smirks at the king, ending the episode on a huge cliffhanger.
