Lee Je Hoon Sets Up Heartwarming Activity After Recovering From Emergency Surgery

After recovering from his health condition, the "Taxi Driver" star continued his annual donation to the non-profit organization, Beautiful Foundation.
Lee Je Hoon Makes 7th Annual Donation for Beautiful Foundation
In a report cited by a news portal, the foundation expressed their gratitude to Lee Je Hoon for "helping the underprivileged and supporting public interest activities" through his generous donation.
With his recent contribution to the Beautiful Foundation, the actor reportedly received a cumulative donation amounting to 100 million won, or 73,980 USD.
However, Lee Je Hoon is also known as one of the foundation's regular donors and has been practicing this kind gesture for 7 years. The actor's donation will support the foundation's public-interest campaigns and overseas relief activities.

In the same report, Lee Je Hoon reveals his reasons for choosing the Beautiful Foundation as the organization that he wants to support.
"There are more and more social problems that are difficult to solve, but I decided to donate with the thought that change can be made if warm-hearted people start to share even in small ways in their respective places," he said.
Moreover, the actor also hoped that he could continue doing good deeds and make changes even in his own ways.
Other than non-profit organizations, Lee Je Hoon is known for his generosity to his staff. In July 2023, the actor made headlines after various reports shared that he treated his staff with lavish gifts.
Established his one-man agency COMPANY ON in 2021, the actor reportedly gifted his longtime manager a Rolex watch, a MacBook, a luxury bag, and a top-of-the-line camera.
The report also said that he treated his staff to a grand dinner party at the end of the year in 2022.
With this, the actor gets praised for knowing how to take care of his employee.
What's Next for Lee Je Hoon?
The award-winning actor surprised fans after his agency announced that he would no longer appear as host at the 28th Busan International Film Festival or the 2023 Buil Film Awards due to his health condition.
In a statement, COMPANY ON shared that the actor was rushed to the hospital "due to severe abdominal pain, and he was diagnosed with ischemic colitis."
Thankfully, he has now recovered from the emergency surgery and is set to return to his activities.
Lee Je Hoon is set to return to the small screen with the new K-drama "Chief Inspector 1963."
It is a prequel to the hit crime investigation series "Chief Inspector," with record-breaking viewership ratings of 70 percent, which aired in the 1970s.
As for Lee Je Hoon's drama, the mystery drama will be directed by Kim Sung Hoon of "Confidential Assignment 1" and "Rampant," with a cast lineup including Lee Dong Hwi, Choi Woo Sung, and more.
