Lee Se Young & Bae In Hyuk Lead Intriguing Double Lives In New Drama
On October 21, a new set of individual teasers for Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk's "The Story of Park's Marriage Contract" was unveiled.
The drama follows a time-slip romance about the contractual marriage between a beautiful maiden from Joseon and an eligible bachelor from the modern age of 2023.
Lee Se Young plays Park Yeon Woo, a woman with great beauty whose husband disappears on their wedding night. She then travels through time and meets Bae In Hyuk's Kang Tae Ha in 2023.
Bae In Hyuk's character lives a lavish lifestyle as a conglomerate heir but things take a shocking turn when he meets Park Yeon Woo who claims he resembles her husband.
The newly released stills share a glimpse into Park Yeon Woo and Kang Tae Ha's contrasting lives. While she stays out of everyone's radar as a woman in a patriarchal society, he shuts everyone out on his own will due to his critical condition.

Park Yeon Woo secretly goes on about her business as her alter ego, "the butterfly teacher," without getting caught. In another photo, Kang Tae Ha boasts a sharp look as he inspects a company project as the successor of the company.
Attention is given to the two who get entangled in each other's affairs. Curiosity about the changes that will happen in their lives as they get to know one another is also heightened.
Lee Se Young & Bae In Hyuk On Choosing 'The Story of Park's Marriage'
Lee Se Young and Bae In Hyuk expressed their affection for the drama in an interview, raising the excitement to a new level.
According to the actress, Park Yeon Woo's independence and strong personality are what drew her to the work. As for Bae In Hyuk, he wants to portray a complex character whose heart gets thawed as the story progresses.
"I really worked on immersing myself with the character," Lee Se Young said. "I even enrolled in horseback riding lessons to further become a Joseon maiden."
Meanwhile, Bae In Hyuk stated, "I focused on how to show my character's icy and aloof character through my pronunciations while delivering lines."
"The Story of Park's Marriage Contract" is a work that depicts the stark difference between the Joseon era and the present day, which fans will surely love.
