Lee Joon Gi Reveals Grateful Heart To Fans

The second season of "Arthdal Chronicles" finally concluded with a total of 12 episodes on October 22.

For six long weeks, the period piece delivered entertainment to fans all around the world, thanks to its unique narrative and cinematography that rivals international works.

In an interview, Lee Joon Gi, who led Season 2 as Eunseom and Saya, dished out his honest thoughts on the work. He also bared his grateful heart to the viewers who supported the drama.

Through "Arthdal Chronicles 2," Lee Joon Gi fulfilled his dream of playing a two-character role that has its own nuances and charms through his sharp and captivating performance.

"I worked hard for more than nine months to give life to Eunseom and Saya," Lee Joon Gi revealed. "I'm deeply moved that fans loved my work, and supported me throughout its run."

The actor also felt grateful to the memories he made on the set of the drama with the staff members and co-stars. He confessed, "I feel more sad than relieved [that the drama ended]."

Lee Joon Gi expressed his desire to stay in touch with his new-found friends, saying, "I look forward to working with you in the future. Thank you."

Lee Joon Gi Shares Future Plans For Acting Career

Since his debut in 2005, Lee Joon Gi has appeared in countless of amazing works including "Arthdal Chronicles 2."

Thanks to his experience and improved skills, he's able to land more acting roles that suit his style. Following the conclusion of his recent drama, Lee Joon Gi hinted at his acting plans.

"I plan to continue being "trustworthy actor" Lee Joon Gi," the actor said. "I will begin a new journey and return to the acting scene with better works and improved image."

As he has done various genres in the past, attention is focused on what kind of projects he will engage with in the future.
