Lee Si Young Updates Fans With Her Himalayan Journey
Lee Si Young is known for her interesting content. Apart from her life as actress, she has a side of herself who's well-traveled. The celebrity often showcases her spontaneous trips in and out of South Korea.
On October 31, the actress made an Instagram post where she shared snaps and clips of her recent activity of climbing the Himalayas mountain. Given that it was one of the highest mountains in the world, it was also challenging to explore it.
Through the caption, she shared all the hardships she and her team experienced in their attempt to reach the top.
According to the Korean star, their journey through the Himalayas is not as beautiful and happy as the pictures. She said that when they are already near the end of their journey, things get more difficult for them.
Lee Si Young Diagnosed With Altitude Sickness
Lee Si Young revealed that three of her team members went below 50% oxygen saturation and could not breathe without an oxygen tank. And resulted in them not joining the group to reach the top. She confessed that she was also diagnosed with altitude sickness.
The "Sweet Home" actress admitted that it was her first time experiencing and learning about altitude sickness and it was scary. Lee Si Young challenged to climb the Himalayas, which is part of the Nepal Himalayan Environmental Clean Himalayan Trekking Project with a famous outdoor brand.

According to a source, the project is said to be designed to raise awareness of forest destruction caused by waste dumped in the mountains and to attract hikers' interest and participation in protecting Himalayan forests. The celebrity remarked, "Himalayan was the country that I can't count how hard I've worked to get."

Meanwhile, Lee Si Young is finally making her much-awaited return on the screen with her upcoming series "Sweet Home 2 & 3."
On November 1, Netflix dropped an enticing teaser of the soon-to-release installments of the famous webtoon-based drama. Aside from her, original cast members Song Kang, Lee Jin Ok, and Go Min Si embark on their drama reunion.
Talented stars Park Gyu Young, Yu Oh Seong, Oh Jung Se, Kim Moo Yul, and Jinyoung are also joining the ensemble, which viewers are already excited about.
As per the teaser, "Sweet Home" is scheduled to premiere on December 1 on the famous online streaming platform, Netflix.
