His boy-next-door look and charming aura made fans swoon over his perfect portrayal.

On top of it, fans loved Yang Se Jong's on-screen chemistry with Bae Suzy as she played former idol Lee Doona.

Released in October 2023, it is undeniably one of the most talked-about K-dramas, which made it enter Netflix's top 10 TV shows after the show's premiere.

After delivering a heartfelt nine-episode K-drama, viewers wanted to see more of Yang Se Jong in the future.

'Dr. Romantic'

One of the well-loved medical K-dramas, "Dr. Romantic" stars Han Suk Kyu as the iconic doctor Kim Sa Bu.

Joining him in the first season are Yoo Yeon Seok and Seo Hyun Jin as his proteges, Yoo Yeon Seok and Yoon Seo Jung.

Landing his first ever K-drama, Yang Se Jong plays Do In Bum, a fellow doctor who came from a wealthy family.

He started as a bitter and selfish individual but transformed into a sweet and selfless person because of Teacher Kim Sa Bu.

After the first season, viewers witnessed his return to Doldam Hospital in season 2 when he appeared in a cameo role, portraying his character.

'Saimdang, Light's Diary'

In his K-drama debut, Yang Se Jong appeared in his first ever historical K-drama, "Saimdang, Light's Diary," headlined by Lee Young Ae and Song Seung Heon.

The then-rookie actor played the role of young Lee Gyeom, the role of Son Seung Heon.

Although he is only a supporting actor, Yang Se Jong made a mark, which landed him in another historical K-drama.

'My Country: The New Age'

Years after 'Saimdang, Light's Diary," Yang Se Jong starred in his second historical K-drama, "My Country: The New Age," taking on the lead role of Seo Hwi.

He takes on the role of a warrior who has a deep sense of justice. Yang Se Jong is joined by Woo Do Hwan, who portrays the role of his longtime friend turned enemy, Nam Seon Ho.

Other than the duo, "My Country: The New Age" also stars Jang Hyuk and Kim Young Chul.

'30 But 17'

Another remarkable Yang Se Jong K-drama is the rom-com series "30 But 17" with Shin Hye Sun and Ahn Hyo Seop.

Yang Se Jong transforms into an eccentric designer named Gong Woo Jin, who becomes trumatized after his first love, Woo Seo Ri, played by Shin Hye Sun, falls into a coma.
