Park Seo Joon's Past Interview Sparks Hate Among Netizens

Park Seo Joon just made his Hollywood movie debut through "The Marvels." It finally hit the cinemas on November 8. Many global fans are anticipating the actor's appearance in the film as it is another milestone in his career. 

Despite the hype and the praise pouring to the Hallyu star, the "Itaewon Class" actor is garnering attention in an online community. For an unexpected reason, Park Seo Joon's past remarks during one of his interviews resurfaced again and he started to receive hate for it.

A chop from his interview was uploaded in which his answers were being criticized. 

The interviewer said, "You said that you wished your wife didn't have a job and just took care of the kids."

As a response, Park Seo Joon mentioned that his opinion is still the same. He elaborated that since he grew up in that kind of environment, he would like his kids to grow in the hands of their own mother.

He said, "Kids who haven't received love when they were young will be problematic once they become adults." The actor added, "If I were to go to the extreme, I would say they can even become criminals. I want to become a good father too, but my kids need to have a mother close to them. This might not be 'The' answer, but this is my answer for now."

People React to Park Seo Joon's Interview

Apart from this, he answered the question regarding the look of his ideal partner.

"I like women whom I want to protect. If they're too tall, they'll give me the impression that I can live well alone. I like girls who will worry a lot and pay attention to me. There are people who are like that who are skinny."

Seeing this, people started to express their hate to the Korean star.

"Is that really Park Seo Joon's interview?"

"It was around 2014? But since foreigners are sensitive to stuff like that, they even made actors apologize for similar things they've said years ago."

"Why are his values like that?"

"I am more shocked that he's speaking his mind like that in an interview.'

"That interview was weird, I actually started hating Park Seo Joon because of it."
