In 2019, rumors sparked that Woo Do Hwan was dating Moon Ga Young.

At the time, they both starred in the drama "Tempted" with Kim Min Jae and Red Velvet's Joy.

It was after OSEN reported that the actor was spotted by neighbors together with Moon Ga Young at the nearby cafe in his neighborhood.

However, their agency, KeyEast Entertainment, shut down the rumors and said that they are "just close friends."


Woo Do Hwan Talks About Dating

The actor doesn't shy away from personal questions like dating.

In one of his previous interviews, obtained by the media outlet, Woo Do Hwan shared his thoughts about being in a relationship and spoke about his ideal type.

For his dating style, he said that he is not good at flirting, especially with "playing hard to get in the beginning."

If he is in a relationship, Woo Do Hwan would rather be straight, as he describes himself as someone who would tell the person whether he likes them or not.

"I don't even know how to push and pull in relationships," he added.

The "Bloodhounds" star will surely be everyone's perfect boyfriend because of how he treats his future girlfriend.

"I tend to be very mannerly when dating. No matter who I meet, I think of them as the precious daughter of another man."

Woo Do Hwan's Ideal type

When asked about Woo Do Hwan's ideal type, it seems that he is more into how the person carries herself and is all about conversation and having fun.

"I like women who I can talk to easily. Someone who makes me laugh just by looking at them."

Interestingly, the actor said that age is not a big deal for him. Although he never dated someone older than him, age shouldn't be a problem when it comes to relationships.

"I'm fine with it as long as it doesn't get criticized by society and there's a reasonable age gap between her and my parents."

What's Next for Woo Do Hwan?

After Netflix's "Bloodhounds," Woo Do Hwan will headline the upcoming rom-com "Mr. Plankton."

He will team up with "Strong Girl Namsoon" star Lee Yoo Mi, along with Oh Jung Se, Kim Hae Sook, and Kim Min Seok.

Drama officials are yet to update fans regarding the show's target release date, but viewers could expect intense on-screen chemistry between Woo Do Hwan and Lee Yoo Mi.
