Yoo Yeon Seok is back in the game with the brand new series "A Bloody Lucky Day."

The actor raised the tension for the work by sharing his honest thoughts and unforgettable experiences during the production.

In a exclusive interview, Yoo Yeon Seok confessed that he found great difficulties in immersing himself with his new acting role.

The actor transforms into Geuk Hyuk Soo in the drama, a serial killer who has unpredictable actions of madness. It marks Yoo Yeon Seok's first-ever villainous character.

To recall, he has always been the "good guy" in his works like "Hospital Playlist," "The Interest of Love," "Dr. Romantic" and more.

"It wasn't easy to approach this character. It was a humbling experience," Yoo Yeon Seok stated. "I watched interviews and documentaries of actual psychopaths to get hints how I should do my role."

Yoo Yeon Seok also had to do emotions and actions that he didn't understand so he acted in the drama while separating his character from his real self.

Based on the webtoon of the same name, "A Bloody Lucky Day" follows the life of a taxi driver who was tasked to drive a passenger to Mokpo for a high price, not knowing that it is a serial killer.

The work stars veteran stars Lee Sung Min, Yoo Yeon Seok and Lee Jung Eun, hinting at the flawless synergy between the actors and a well-curated seasonal work.

"A Bloody Lucky Day" tells a story of survival as fear manifests and takes over, which is expected to send every viewer to the edge of their seats from beginning to end.

On the other hand, the drama airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10:30 p.m. KST on tvN. For TVING streamers, the first part of the work, which consists of six episodes, will be available on November 24.
